About Nextor Blue
Arnaldo Castellucci, is an endodontic specialist, his clinical and teaching experience in microscopic endodontics spans almost 40 years. He has produced reference works and authored many articles and books of international renown, that helped train entire generations of dentists worldwide, and they still do.
Dr. Castellucci graduated in Medicine at the University of Florence in 1973 and he specialized in Dentistry at the same University in 1977. From 1978 to 1980 he attended the Continuing Education Courses on Endodontics at Boston University and in 1980 he spent four months in the Endodontic Department of Prof. Herbert Schilder. Since then, he has a limited practice on Endodontics.
He is Past President of the Italian Endodontic Society S.I.E. and Active Member of the European Society of Endodontology E.S.E., where he was the Secretary in 1981-83. He is Active Member of the American Association of Endodontists A.A.E. since 1985.
He has been the President of the International Federation of Endodontic Associations I.F.E.A. in 1990-92.
From 1983 to 2000 he has been Professor of Endodontics at the University of Siena Dental School. From 2001 to 2014 he has been Visiting Professor of Endodontics at the University of Florence Dental School.
He is now Assistant Professor of Endodontics at the University of Cagliari Dental School and Professor of Micro-Surgical Endodontics at the Specialty of Oral Surgery of the University Federico II of Naples.
He translated into Italian the text on “Clinical and Surgical Endodontics. Concepts in Practice”, by Frank, Glick, Simon and Abou-Rass, edited by Piccin.
He has been the Editor of “The Italian Endodontic Journal” and of “The Endodontic Informer”. He is also the Founder and President of the “Warm Gutta-Percha Study Club”. Today is Editor in Chief of Endo Tribune and is Editorial Advisor of the journals Endodontic Practice and Endodontic Practice US and is in the Editorial Board of Clinical Dentistry.
He is Founder and President of the Micro-Endodontic Training Center in Florence, where he teaches and gives hands-on courses on nonsurgical and surgical Endodontics.
He published more then 60 articles on Endodontics in the most prestigious Endodontic Journals.
In 1993 he published the text “EndodonziA”, edited by Martina, which in 2004 has been updated and translated in the English language with the name “EndodonticS”.
He is also the author of the text Micro Surgical Endodontics, edited by Edra, available today in Italian, English and Spanish. He wrote the chapter Obturation of the Radicular Space for the 7th edition of Ingle’s Endodontics edited by PMPH USA, the chapter Internal Tooth Anatomy and Root Canal Obturation for the text The Root Canal Anatomy in Permanent Dentition edited by Springer, is coauthor of the chapter Nonsurgical Root Canal Retreatment for the text The Guidebook to Molar Endodontics, edited by Springer and he wrote the chapter on Endodontic-Periodontic Interrelationships for the text Diagnosis and terapia periodontal therapy edited by Quintessence.
International lecturer, he gave presentations at National and International Congresses in more than 66 different countries in the world. Dr. Castellucci has lectured on Non-surgical Endodontics, Surgical Endodontics, Retratments, CBCT, Nickel-Titanium instruments, New technology, instruments and materials, Surgical Operating Microscope. Dr. Castellucci is also involved on hands-on courses both in surgical and non-surgical endodontics internationally and in his Micro Endodontics Training Center in Florence, Italy.
