Speaker & Coordinator
Irina Dragan is a recognized Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology, at Tufts she teaches students and residents Periodontics and Implantology.
She is the coordinator of the “Management of Complex Cases” course, offered to residents across residency departments at Tufts.
Together with her team, she has received various research grants from renowned associations in the field (International Team of Implantology, Osteology Foundation, Academy of Osseointegration).
In 2018, she was awarded the Tarrson Award by the Academy of Periodontology Foundation. This distinction is awarded annually to only one academic from the US and Canada for clinical, didactical, and research activities.
The workshop showcases the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine TUSDM “Case Complexity Tool”. This takes a loo at the evaluation and diagnosis of complex cases, integrating interdisciplinary treatments in day-to-day practice.
